Ok, on Saturday night I had to go to Labor & Delivery for contractions (I have been having contractions since December 28, 2008!!!!-for the love of muffins!!!), they gave me morphine and phenergan to help with the pain, plus the first shot of betamethacone (an esteroid to help the baby's lungs to develope quickly) because my fetal fibronectic (fFC) came back positive.
What is that and what does it mean? Well, all pre-term labor ladies may be very familiar with this procedure. It it a test where they collect specimen from the vagina secretions, to help the doctor determine teh risk of delivering in the next 2 weeks. And gess what??? mine came back ++positive++, not that we are surprised . Today, Sunday I went back for the second shot of betamethacone.
With the 2 series shot Dante is now on less risk to suffer as Kaylee and Kaysee did when they were born.
As you all know, my due date is May 14, but as always I never make it, I am hoping at least to go in March and not in February. Now I will have to "enjoy" some bedrest that I want to do at home (cheaper and easier).
Honestly, this is MY LAST PREGNANCY!!! If Kam was able to feel at least one contraction he'll be with me on this one.
KAM!!!!!???????........
