2 cute stories about Kaysee

STORY NUMBER 1
Yesterday was an amazing day for us as a family. We went to the open house of the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple. To prepare Kaysee I started telling her about how special temples are and reminded her that Daddy and I got married at the temple, at the Jordan River Temple. I tried to explain her how the Lord talk to us through the Holy Spirit and that at the temple open house she needed to pay attention to be able to feel the Spirit.

So, after a family prayer, in our way we went yesterday. I sat by her side on the back seat while Kam drove and I kept telling her about the Holy Spirit, I told her she will feel it in her heart. We sang "I love to see the temple" song, and "Book of Mormon Stories". I also kept insisting on how we needed to use our temple voices (whisper to each other when talking), and no running because it is a very special place, is the house of Heavenly Father.

Now my favorite part. While at the short video presentation I got really emotional and I had some tears, I asked Kam for one of Dante's burp cloth to wipe them off, and soon after Kaysee started to cry, she also ask for a burp cloth. We toured the temple and had an amazing time. On our way home I sat with her again and this is what happened:

Me: Kaysee, do you remember when I told you about paying attention to the Holy Spirit at the temple?
Kaysee: yeah
Me: Did you like the temple?
Kaysee: yeah
Me: why were you crying?
Kaysee: because Jesus made me sad
Me: what do you mean Jesus made you sad?
Kaysee: He made me cry. He made me sad
Me: Oh dear! Jesus didn't made you sad. That was Jesus letting you feel the Holy Spirit in your heart. Even though you cried it wasn't because He wanted you to be sad, those were feelings of love and happiness, and sometimes that happens, we cry because we are really happy.

She thought about it for a few seconds and then:

Kaysee: Ok. .....Mom can I get marry in the temple like you and Daddy?
Me: Claro mi amor (of course dear)
Kaysee: Oh I will love that
Me: Me too Kaysee, me too!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! Isn't that sweet and beautiful? I am glad we went to the open house.

STORY NUMBER 2

I called the Spanish Radio Station "Magia" (in Utah is 106.1 FM),to request Kaylee's favorite song "Que bonita es esta vida" (How beautiful is our life) and of course I asked the DJ to say hi to Kaylee and Kaysee from their Mom, Rosi. Carlos, the DJ, asked where I was from and we chat for a few while he looked for the song. I hanged up and called Kaysee to the room and ask her to listen to the radio with us-Kam, Dante, Kaylee and Me (Alondra was sleeping)- We were listening when the DJ said: "the following song is a request and I wan to greet all our friends from Puerto Rico in special to Kaylee and Kaysee from their mom, Rosi. Here is your song girls!"

HAHAHHAHAA Kaysee's eyes were wide open on disbelieve and astonishment.

"Mom, he talked to us!, the radio talked to us!"

Some June shots

Well, we had this small bird falling of the nest yesterday afternoon, we decided to take her to our garage and feed her and take care of her until she gets better. We named her Candice.
My Kaylee and Dante sleeping thinking they both are by my side, hahhahaaa. I got them!!!!!

Our 3 pets: Blues Clues-formely Stitch-, Candice & Rosella-formely Sushi
Ok, this is a sad story, we had 2 fish: Angel-red- and Stitch-blue-, and yesterday I disposed Angel after she died sometime during the day. I almost got rid of Stitch to, but instead I changed her name to Candice and kept her. Now the chicks, at the beggining they were 2, then 1, then 2 again and now only 1. The first set of chicks were so small that Kaysee wanting to caress her killed her, so Kam bought 1 more to accompany the other one. Well, that one was eating by our neighbors cat for lunch, ans that is why we have only one. Now, the baby bird, we tried to saved her but she died for internal injuries sometime during the night. In 2 days we have had to deal with 2 deads in our family, well at least I had to, the rest of the family didn't clean anything and didn't have to deal with the smell. Oh well, will see whats next!

Alondra trying to get out of her bed, I think it was hurting her!

A visit to ER

Yesterday Kam took Alondra to Primary's Emergency Department with a fever of 105.6, she has another right ear infection and that is BAD NEWS. Alondra had the tubes surgery on Jan 27, and it seems like her ear is not draining properly AGAIN!!!! Hopefully the ENT have an answer and a solution for us.
