Festival of Trees

For the first time we went to the Festival of Trees: A Gift of Love, benefiting Primary Children's Medical Center in Utah. It is their 42 year.
The Festival is organized by a volunteer board of 85 women who enlist time and talents from thousands of individuals, organizations, businesses, and families throughout Utah.  Over $30.8 million has been raised for children at Primary Children’s Medical Center through the Festival since 1971, with $1,655,931.40 raised in 2011.

1ra Fiesta Anual de la Ramita de Arroyo

Ok this was a joyful occasion. I invited my brother and sisters from my Arroyo Branch to join me in to celebrate Columbus arrival to Puerto Rico in November 19,1493; Thanksgiving, and to kick off the holiday season. It is amazing how we all have changed and grown!!! I was a Seminary teacher to 4 of the ones that were able to come, and now they all have kids!!! (FS=Former Student)
kids from la Ramita de Arroyo
Me 5 kids, Marife FS 2 kids, Chemaris FS 2 kids, Zory 2 kids, Vicmarie FS 1 kid & Daniel FS 1kid
We are missing Daisy 2 kids (she left early with a sick son)

The food was delicious, we had:

The kids enjoyed themselves and loved having the hole gym to play in!!!

Some of them decided to make a play

And we had to do our "paparazzi" time
