Alondra's 2nd birthday

My baby girl turned 2 today. It has been an interesting day as it was last year, hopefully next year will be better and no one is sick or recently out from surgery.

I took Kaysee on a Mommy-Daughter date to see the Utah Utes Gymnastic competition against their main rival Georgia. We loved it and had a lot of fun.I think it has been one of our favorites date so far.

For our family home evening activity I made sure I had sewed dresses(the only thing is that I couldn't get the green fabric and I had to replaced it with gold) for Kaylee, Kaysee and Alondra to dress as the Chippettes: Britney, Janet and Eleonor, from Alvin & the Chipmunks: the Squeakquel. We took Kaylee and Alondra to the room and changed their clothes and came out to surprise Kaysee.

Kaylee's surgery

Kaylee had the hardware from her hips removed on January 15, 2010. Surgery went really well, in fact better than expected. It lasted 1hour, 12 minutes and 32 seconds.
